UnitingJustice Australia regularly produces resources for congregations, particularly around specific national and international days. We also produce advocacy briefs to assist people in advocating to politicians on particular social justice issues. In addition, UnitingJustice has produced several colourful, informative and easy to read brochures for church members outlining the Uniting Church's work in numerous issues of social and ecological justice and peace, which are available free of charge by contacting us.
If your congregation would like to take action on social justice issues, you might find these resources helpful. We have included tips on how to write a letter to a politician, how to arrange a meeting with a politician, as well as advocacy and information resources on the range of social justice issues that the Uniting Church is concerned about. In addition, a collection of advocacy training resources have been developed as a project of the Social Justice Forum.
Please let us know how you used these resources.
